Finally.
Time, inclination, tools and materials aligned for me to start scratching in the dirt.
Leon the dwarf tahitian lime tree made it to his new (permanent) home. The compost bin got relocated and restarted. Random neighbour-plants cut back to let some light in. Some Architecturally-created edging to give my little patch of dry ground some definition, some oomph, some indication to the gardener that these little scratchings in the dirt are on purpose and please not to mow over them.
Those pawpaw seedlings made it out of the pot and into their own little patch of dirt. Well, more of a patch of rock, but I’m hopeful. Two big ones and a few little ones for good luck.
Just need to keep the possums away. Who knew they liked baby pawmatoes so much?
A ways to go yet, but you know what they say. Best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago. Second best time is now.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! This is some exciting news! FRAUGHT with potential. Leon (?) is happy yes? It looks like a nice spot and from memory, your veggies get to grow in the disco ball light of communal dancing undies from the clothes lines? Keep the photos coming ms rocket!
(how cool to be taking FULL advantage of your realestate holdings.) xxxxxxx
